Energy Efficiency

Energy Efficiency has never been more important than now and Chancery Contracts provides both energy efficiency advice and energy saving equipment installation services.

Ultimately energy efficiency is about protecting both the planet and the limited resources available on it. However in day-to-day terms, energy efficiency is very much about cost and a desire to lower overall energy costs even as the cost of raw materials, or wholesale supplies rise. It is in this very practical world that Chancery Contracts operates and we understand very well the need to drive down costs with the minimum of up-front investment.

Energy Efficient LightEnergy Efficiency Design

While certain aspects of energy efficiency design can be undertaken in isolation, a truly effective solution (or set of solutions) must always have the building at its core. This is not just the size, and type of building, but also its location and orientation.

The extensive experience Chancery Contracts has of system design, equipment specification and installation means that we can design efficient energy systems that are optimised fully for the building, while still keeping a sharp eye on the budget.

Energy Efficiency Control

Temperature ControlOften the key to energy efficiency is providing the building occupants with sufficient control to apply energy where it is needed most. Sometimes that is as simple as having a centralised control to switch off unused lights, sometime it means adding in automatic control of lighting so that they are switched off when no one is in that part of the building.

However, with modern computerised controls it is now possible to create the type of automated control within a building that saves energy even when the occupants don't realise there is energy there to be saved. For example automatically dimming office lights when sunlight is very bright in one part of an office.

Chancery Contracts has extensive experience of the type of equipment available and its capabilities. This means we can take an efficient system and turn it into an equipment specification that will provide an optimal balance between efficiency savings and installation costs that will minimise the lead time for a return on the investment.

Heating

Electrical heating is not the first choice for most and there is no doubt there are more energy efficient ways to heat a home or office. However, gas supplies are not always available and often the up-front cost of whole new gas based heating system may prove to be too much.

Chancery Contracts provides advice and solutions to get the best from electrical heating. Whether this be electric storage heaters, integration with a renewable source such solar panels, or even just altering the location and setting of thermostats, Chancery Contracts has a solution to fit most requirements.

Maintenance and Upgrades

Just because a system is energy efficient today does not mean it always will be so efficient. This is especially true in comparative terms as new technology becomes available that perpetually pushes the boundaries of the possible.

By keeping up-to-date with the latest advances in energy efficiency and regularly maintaining existing systems Chancery Contracts helps our customers not only maintain current energy efficiencies, but also take advantage of new developments as they are introduced to the market.

Chancery Contracts works with both commercial and domestic clients on new builds, or on re-fits. If you would like to know more about our energy efficiency services please get in touch.
